Edward Carter Turner 
Edward Carter was born on April 28th, 1854. Edward Carter's father was Edward Carter Turner and his mother was Sarah Jane Beverley. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Turner and Eliza Carter Randolph; his maternal grandparents were James Bradshaw Beverley and Jane Peter. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Bradshaw Beverley, Thomas Baynton, Charles, Robert Fauntleroy, Nathan Loughborough, Jane Peter, Mary Beverley and Eliza Randolph. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Robert Randolph, Sarah Randolph and Lavinia Beverley. He died at the age of 41 on April 24th, 1896 in "The Netherlands", The Plains, Fauquier co., VA.-
