Lavinia Beverley was born on February 27th, 1871 in "Montrose", The Plains, Fauquier Co., VA. Lavinia Beverley's father was Edward Carter Turner and her mother was Mary Magill Randolph. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Turner and Eliza Carter Randolph; her maternal grandparents were Robert Lee Randolph and Mary Buckner Thurston Magill. She had a brother and a sister, named Robert Randolph and Sarah Randolph. She was the second oldest of the three children. She had six half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Bradshaw Beverley, Thomas Baynton, Charles, Edward Carter, Robert Fauntleroy, Nathan Loughborough, Jane Peter, Mary Beverley and Eliza Randolph. She was buried in Middleburg, VA.-
