His paternal grandparents were John Bolling and Mary Carie; his maternal grandparents were John Stith and Jane ?. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Stith, Edward, Drury, Thomas, Alexander, John, Anne, Agnes and Jane. He had a half-brother named John. He died on July 17th, 1749 in Prince George Co., VA.-
