Peter Poindexter 
Peter was born about 1762 in Louisa Co., VA. Peter's father was William Poindexter and his mother was Margaret Daniels. His paternal grandparents were John P. Poindexter and Christian Gossage. He had four brothers and a sister, named John, William, Charles, Joseph and Sally. He was the oldest of the six children. He died on November 17th, 1843 in Todd, Kentucky.-
