Joseph Poindexter 
Joseph was born about 1775 in Louisa Co., VA. Joseph's father was William Poindexter and his mother was Margaret Daniels. His paternal grandparents were John P. Poindexter and Christian Gossage. He had four brothers and a sister, named Peter, John, William, Charles and Sally. He was the youngest of the six children.-
