Lucinda was born in 1812.  Lucinda's father was Richard Forrester and her mother was Elizabeth (Lizzie) Cotham.  Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Cotham and Elizabeth Griffin. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Hezekiah, Josiah, Silas, Jeremiah, Arthur, Richard, Laura, Dinah and Sarah Virginia.  She was the seventh oldest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 88 in 1900.
