Patriots in the AmericanRevolution by Bobby Gilmer Ross, Baltimore Genealogical Publishing Co, 1983--he seved 90 days as a horseman in theSpartan Regiment of Militia under Captain Vardy McBee and Col. John Thomas. He was living in the Cheraws Dist of SC in 1778 & in Franklin Co., GA in 1802-8.One source also has Thomas having Richard b. abt. 1780 NC d. Jan 1, 1855 Ark. married Elizabeth________.
