Sarah Cowan

Sarah was born in 1789. Sarah's father was Mathias Cowan and her mother was Rachel Ellen Gray. Her paternal grandparents were Hugh Cowan and Ann Mathias. She had three brothers and five sisters, named James, Joseph, George, Martha, Mary, Anne, Elizabeth and Rachel. She was the youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 68 in 1857.
