Rachel Cowan

Rachel was born in 1786. Rachel's father was Mathias Cowan and her mother was Rachel Ellen Gray. Her paternal grandparents were Hugh Cowan and Ann Mathias. She had three brothers and five sisters, named James, Joseph, George, Martha, Mary, Anne, Elizabeth and Sarah. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 30 in 1816.
