Helen Mathieson

Helen was born on November 11th, 1885 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.¹ Helen's father was John Mathieson and her mother was Sarah Bliss. Her paternal grandfather is John Matheson and her paternal grandmother was Mary McKinney; her maternal grandparents are Thomas Bliss and Jessie Sim. She had five brothers and two sisters, named John, Thomas Archibald, Frank, William James, George McGregor, Jessie and Mary. She was the seventh oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 50 in 1935.
