Emma Thornton

Emma was born in June 1867 in Keighley, Yorkshire, England. Emma's father was John Thornton and her mother was Mary Mitchell. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Thornton and Harriet Asquith; her maternal grandparents were John Mitchell and Sarah (Mitchell). She had four brothers and four sisters, named Asquith, Fred Mitchell, Andrew, Thomas, Harriet A, Grace, Sarah Jane and Maria. She was the sixth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 43 in December 1910 in Keighley, Yorkshire, England.
