Thomas Ibotson Newiss

Thomas Ibotson was born in December 1865 in Ripon, Yorkshire, England.¹ Thomas Ibotson's father was John Newiss and his mother was Mary Turner. His paternal grandparents were William Newis and Ursula Kitson; his maternal grandparents were Phillip Turner and Ellen (Unknown). He had four brothers and three sisters, named William, John, Thomas Ibbotson, Thomas, Elizabeth, Hannah and Priscilla. He was the seventh oldest of the eight children.
