    Mrs. Pearl Walker Died Saturday
       Mrs. Pearl M. Walker, 72, Cannelburg, died at 5:15 p.m. Saturday at the Jasper Memorial Hospital following an illness of four months.
       Mrs. Walker was born October 17, 1884, the daughter of Dr. George L. and Dela [sic] W. (Champlin) Spalding.  She married George L. Walker in September 1908 and he survives.  Mrs. Walker was a member of the All Saints Catholic Church at Cannelburg.
       Surviving besides her husband are five sons:  John G. Walker, Granger; J. B. Walker, R. R. 1, Odon; Lawrence S. Walker, Mishawaka; Dr. Louis A. Walker, Greensburg; and Capt. James A. Walker, U.S. Air Force, Frankfort [sic], Germany, and one daughter, Mrs. Rosemary Ramsey, of Indianapolis.  There are 18 grandchildren.  One sister, Mrs. Helen Doyle, of Indianapolis, also survives.
       Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m., Wednesday, at the All Saints Church, with burial in the St. John's cemetery in Loogootee.
       Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home in Loogootee.
       Rosary services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Miller Funeral Home.

    Mrs. Spaulding [sic] Funeral Today
       Mrs. Della M. Spaulding, age 77 years, widow of George L. Spaulding, for many years residents of Loogootee, was found dead in her bed at the home of a daughter, Mrs. George Walker, near St. Michaels early Monday morning.  Mrs. Spaulding had been in poor health for some time, suffering from a complication of ailments, and had severe attacks of asthma during the past few weeks and her death was not wholly unexpected.
       The deceased was born in Orange county Nov. 14, 1855.  She was married to Mr. Spaulding June 20, 1877.  Surviving children are Mrs. Joseph Doyle and Warren C. Spaulding of Indianapolis and Mrs. Walker.
       The funeral service was held at 9:00 o'clock this (Thursday) morning from St. Michael's church with burial following in St. Mary's cemetery.
