Thankful was born on March 21st, 1757 in Of Hopkinton, Washington, RI. Thankful's father was William TEFFT and her mother was Mary KENYON. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph TEFFT and Esther BROWNELL; her maternal grandparents were David KENYON and Mary SANFORD. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Hezekiah, Pardon, David, William, John, James, Joseph, Pardon, Mary and Mary. She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 65 on November 18th, 1822.-
