William TEFFT 
William was born on February 29th, 1732 in Richmond, Washington, RI. William's father was Joseph TEFFT and his mother was Esther BROWNELL. His paternal grandparents were John TEFFT Sr. and Joanna SPRAGUE; his maternal grandparents were Thomas BROWNELL and Esther TABER. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, Benjamin, Thomas, Samuel, Elizabeth, Ruth, Esther and Sarah. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 90 on November 28th, 1822 in Easton, Washington, NY.General Notes
