John Stephens 
John was born on March 31st, 1811 in , Rowan Co., NC. John's father was Alexander Stephens and his mother is Mary DAILEY. His paternal grandparents were Richard Stephens and Martha ROBERTS; his maternal grandparents were William DAILEY and Mary PALMER. He had five brothers and five sisters, named William, Alexander, David, Daniel, Simeon, Hannah, Martha, Elizabeth, Mary and Indiana. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 59 on December 3rd, 1870 in Katherine, Weber, UT. He was buried on December 6th, 1870.-
