Daniel Stephens 
Daniel was born on April 4th, 1819 in Rowana, Cumberland, NC. Daniel's father was Alexander Stephens and his mother is Mary DAILEY. His paternal grandparents were Richard Stephens and Martha ROBERTS; his maternal grandparents were William DAILEY and Mary PALMER. He had five brothers and five sisters, named William, John, Alexander, David, Simeon, Hannah, Martha, Elizabeth, Mary and Indiana. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 80 on May 18th, 1899 in Tennessee, IL.-
