David Stephens 
David was born on April 4th, 1817 in Rowan, NC. David's father was Alexander Stephens and his mother is Mary DAILEY. His paternal grandparents were Richard Stephens and Martha ROBERTS; his maternal grandparents were William DAILEY and Mary PALMER. He had five brothers and five sisters, named William, John, Alexander, Daniel, Simeon, Hannah, Martha, Elizabeth, Mary and Indiana. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 74 on April 24th, 1891.-
