Susan was born about 1816 in ,Churchville,Augusta Co,VA. Susan's father was Amos Crosby and her mother was Mary Anderson. Her paternal grandparents were George Crosby and Susanna Evans; her maternal grandfather was Alexander Anderson. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Alexander, George Haslep, William, Amos Stover, Joshua E, John Richard, Esther, Rebecca and Mary Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the ten children. She died on July 19th, 1837 in ,,Augusta Co,VA. She was buried in Crosby Cem.,Churchville,Augusta Co,VA.General Notes
She had no children per Blanche Swortzel, but she may have died in childbirth.
