Evans born in Llanvachreth, removed to Pennsylvania, 1684. married Mary Jones 8th mo (Oct) 23, 1690.
It is said he came to America in 1683/4 with his parents, his brother, his wife, and two small children.
History of Delaware by Smith p 459 says from Glamorganshire South Wales David Evan the son of Evan, ap William Powell with his wife Gainer and their younger children, came to America about the year 1684 and settled in Radnor. They were from Glamorganshire, South Wales. His wife could not have lived long after their arrival, as "David Evan, widower, was married to Mary Jones, spinster" in 1690. (The first wife was listed as Margaret John in other sources, not sure where Gainer fits in)

Per a descendent in 2003 she lived near David Evans property. The lots were going for 10 acres at a million dollars!! Apparently David's house is still on this property, but she has not seen it. It would be quite small.
