Geoffrey was born on September 23rd, 1158 in Normandy, France. Geoffrey's father was Henry II Curtmantle Plantagenet and his mother was Duchess of Aquitaine Eläeonore. His paternal grandparents were Geoffrey V 'the Fair' Plantagenet and Matilda the Empress; his maternal grandparents were Guillaume X and Eläeonore De Chatellerault. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William, Richard I, John, Henry IV 'The Young', Philip, Matilda, Eleanor and Joana. He had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named William, Peter, Duke of LIncoln, Richard of, Duke of Beverly, Rosamond, Matilda of, Marie, Alice and Mary. He died at the age of 27 on August 19th, 1186 in Paris, France.-
