Robert II "the was born about 1008 in Normandy, France.  Robert II "the's father was II Richard and his mother was Juetta (Judith) de Bretagne.  His paternal grandparents were Richard I 'The Fearless' and Gunnora De Crepon; his maternal grandparents were I Conan and Ermengarde of Anjou. He had six sisters named III, Eleanora of, Alice (Adelaide) of, William, Stephanie of and Frasenda of.  He was the third youngest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Archbishop of Rouen, Papia of and Count of Arques.  He died on July 22nd, 1035 in Nicea, Bithynia, Turkey.
