Matilda was born on February 7th, 1102.  Matilda's father was Henry I "Beauclerc" , King of England and her mother was Edith Matilda "Atheling" of Scotland.  Her paternal grandparents were King William The Conqueror and Matilda de Flanders; her maternal grandparents were Malcolm III "Canmore" , King of Albany and Margaret "the Saint" of England. She had a brother named William , Prince. She had four half-brothers and nine half-sisters, named William, Henry, "The Consul", Reynold, Eustacia, Grace, Elizabeth, Matilda, Alice, Maud, Constance, Rohese and Rohese.  She died at the age of 65 on September 10th, 1167.  She was buried in Abbey at Bec,Eure,France.


Matilda's first family with Geoffrey V Plantagenet , Count of Anjou

‌Matilda and Geoffrey V were married in a religious ceremony on April 3rd, 1127.  They had two sons and two daughters, named Henry II, Curt Mantel, Emma and Emma.
