Edmund II "Ironside" was born about 0988 in Wessex,England.  Edmund II "Ironside"'s father was King Ethelred II (The Unready) England and his mother was Queen Alfgifu (Aelflaed) of England.  His paternal grandparents were King Edgar (The Peaceable) England and Queen Elfrida Elfthryth; his maternal grandparents were Thored Ealderman Gunnarsson and Mrs-Thored Gunnarsson. He had a brother and a sister, named Edmund II "Ironside" King Of and Elfgifu.  He was the second oldest of the three children. He had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Edmund II, Edred, Ingelric, Elfgifu, Goda, Aelfgifu, Elfgifu and Elfgifu.  He died in 1016 in London,England.  He was buried in Glastonbury,Somerset,England.
