Robert Shipley Jr. 
Robert was born on October 19th, 1713 in Queen Caroline Prsh,Anne Arundel Co.,Md. Robert's father was Robert Shipley Sr. and his mother was Elizabeth Stevens. His paternal grandparents were Adam Shipley and Lois Howard; his maternal grandparents were Charles Stevens and Elizabeth. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Charles, Lewis, George, William, Ruth, Keturah, Elizabeth and Sarah. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 67 in 1780 in Mechlinburgh Co.,North Carolina.-
