Sarah Shipley 
Sarah was born on June 3rd, 1721 in Queen Caroline Prsh,Anne Arundel Co.,Md. Sarah's father was Robert Shipley Sr. and her mother was Elizabeth Stevens. Her paternal grandparents were Adam Shipley and Lois Howard; her maternal grandparents were Charles Stevens and Elizabeth. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Charles, Robert, Lewis, George, William, Ruth, Keturah and Elizabeth. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children.-
