Ruth Shipley 
Ruth was born on August 14th, 1715 in Queen Caroline Prsh,Anne Arundel Co.,Md. Ruth's father was Robert Shipley Sr. and her mother was Elizabeth Stevens. Her paternal grandparents were Adam Shipley and Lois Howard; her maternal grandparents were Charles Stevens and Elizabeth. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Charles, Robert, Lewis, George, William, Keturah, Elizabeth and Sarah. She was the third oldest of the nine children.-
