Charles Shipley 
Charles was born on March 27th, 1711 in Queen Caroline Prsh,Anne Arundel Co.,Md. Charles' father was Robert Shipley Sr. and his mother was Elizabeth Stevens. His paternal grandparents were Adam Shipley and Lois Howard; his maternal grandparents were Charles Stevens and Elizabeth. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Robert, Lewis, George, William, Ruth, Keturah, Elizabeth and Sarah. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 56 in 1767.-
