Henry II of England, known as Curt Mantel, was born in LeMans, Sarthe, France.  Curt Mantel's father was Ct Geffroi V of Anjou Plantagenet and his mother was Queen Mathilda of England.  His paternal grandparents were King Foulques V of Jerusalam and Erembourge of Maine; his maternal grandparents were King Henry I of England (Beauclerc) and Matilda (Eadgith) of Scotland. He had two half-brothers named Curt Mantel and Hamelin of Surrey.  He died  due to assassinated on July 6th, 1189 in Chinon, Indre-et-Loire, France.
