Eleanor of Aquitaine was born in 1123 in Chateau Belin, Aquitaine, France.  Eleanor of Aquitaine's father was Duke Guillaume X of Aquitaine and her mother was Eleanor of Rochefoucauld.  Her paternal grandparents were Duke Guillaume IX of Aquitaine and Maud of Toulouse; her maternal grandparents were Visc. Aimeri I of Chatellerhaut & Rochefoucauld and Dangereuse of Bouchard. She had a sister named Eleanor.  She was the younger of the two children.  She died at the age of 81 on March 31st, 1204 in Mirabell Castle, France.  She was buried on April 1st, 1204.

‌Eleanor of Aquitaine and Curt Mantel were married in a religious ceremony on May 18th, 1152.  They had a son named "Lackland".
