William Riach

William was born on October 12th, 1830 in Dallas, Morayshire and his baptism took place on November 20th, 1830. William's father was William Riach and his mother was Janet Gordon. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Riach and Anna Cruickshank; his maternal grandparents were John Gordon and Elizabeth McIntosh. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, Alexander, John, Elizabeth, Jane, Helen, Janet, Ann and Elspit. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children.
