Alexander Riach

Alexander was born on July 6th, 1836 in Dallas, Morayshire and his baptism took place on July 17th, 1836. Alexander's father was William Riach and his mother was Janet Gordon. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Riach and Anna Cruickshank; his maternal grandparents were John Gordon and Elizabeth McIntosh. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, William, John, Elizabeth, Jane, Helen, Janet, Ann and Elspit. He was the sixth oldest of the ten children.
