John Riach

John was born on June 19th, 1850 in Dallas, Morayshire and his baptism took place there on August 12th, 1850. John's father was William Riach and his mother was Janet Gordon. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Riach and Anna Cruickshank; his maternal grandparents were John Gordon and Elizabeth McIntosh. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, William, Alexander, Elizabeth, Jane, Helen, Janet, Ann and Elspit. He was the youngest of the ten children.
