Sir Thomas de Monthermer (2nd Baron) 
Thomas was born in 1290. Thomas' father was Sir Ralph de Monthermer (1st Baron) and his mother was Joan Plantagenet (Joan of Acre). His maternal grandparents were Edward I “Longshanks” Plantagenet (King of England) and Eleanor of Castile. He had a sister named Elizabeth. He was the older of the two children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Gilbert and Eleanor. He died at the age of 35 in 1325.General Notes
