Polly Mary was born about 1804 in Pennsylvania, USA.1 Polly Mary's father was Samuel McMahan and her mother was Jane "Jennie" Reed. Her paternal grandparents were Maj. James McMahan and Mary Murray; her maternal grandparents were William Reed and Mary Murray. She had four brothers and four sisters, named James, William Reed, Samuel, John, Jennie Murray "Jane", Margaret, Eliza Ann and Rebecca. She died on December 25th, 1866 in Vineland, Cumberland, New Jersey, USA. She was buried in Siloam Cemetery.-
