Samuel McMahan 
Samuel was born on September 8th, 1779 in West Chillisquaque, Northumberland, Pennsylvania, USA.1 Samuel's father was Maj. James McMahan and his mother was Mary Murray. His paternal grandparents were John McMahan and Margaret Murray; his maternal grandparents were James Murray and Janet "Jennet" Armit. He had three brothers and a sister, named Thomas, John, James and Jane. He died at the age of 74 on June 11th, 1854 in West Chillisquaque, Northumberland, Pennsylvania, USA. He was buried on June 13th, 1854 in Chillisquaque Cemetery.2 1 -
