William was born in 1704 in Donegal, Ireland.1   William's father is Thomas Reed and his mother is Dolly Letson.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 86 in 1790 in West Chillisquaque, Northumberland, Pennsylvania, USA.  He was buried in Chillisquaque Cemetery.1
