Thomas was born in 1793 in South Ferriby, Lincoln, England and his christening took place there on February 10th, 1793.  Thomas' father was Joseph Rack and his mother was Elizabeth Thompson.  His paternal grandparents were William Rack and Eleanor Lamin. He had a brother and four sisters, named William, Mary, Ellen, Dinah and Bessey.  He was the oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 35 in 1828 in South Ferriby, Lincoln, England.  He was buried on January 9th, 1828 in South Ferriby, Lincoln, England.
