Mary A. was born about 1853 in Somerton, Somerset. Mary A.'s father was John White and her mother was Hannah Maria Eastment. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Ames White and Joanna Whitaker; her maternal grandparents were James Eastment and Mary Young.
