Clara Jane White

Clara Jane was born about 1860 in Newport, Monmouth and her baptism took place on March 22nd, 1879 in St Marks, Newport. Clara Jane's father was John White and her mother was Hannah Maria Eastment. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Ames White and Joanna Whitaker; her maternal grandparents were James Eastment and Mary Young. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named George, James Eastment, Alfred, Robert, John, John, William, Eliza, Mary A., Alice and Rosina. She was the seventh oldest of the twelve children.
