John White

John was born in 1867 in 53 Upper George Street, Newport, Monmouthshire. John's father was John White and his mother was Hannah Maria Eastment. His paternal grandparents were Robert Ames White and Joanna Whitaker; his maternal grandparents were James Eastment and Mary Young. He had six brothers and five sisters, named George, James Eastment, Alfred, Robert, John, William, Eliza, Mary A., Clara Jane, Alice and Rosina. He is the tenth oldest of the twelve children.
