Male John White

John was born in 1825 in Bruton, Somerset and his baptism took place there on July 17th, 1825.  John's father was Robert Ames White and his mother was Joanna Whitaker.  His paternal grandparents were John White and Ann Ames; his maternal grandparents are William Whitaker and Grace Armstrong.  He had seven brothers and a sister, named Robert, William, Edward, UriahSamuel, Samuel, Daniel, Thomas and Elizabeth.  He was the eighth oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 51 on January 29th, 1876 in 27 Bolt Street, Newport, Monmouth.
