Robert White

Robert was born on July 20th, 1805 in Bruton, Somerset and his baptism took place there on August 14th, 1805. Robert's father was Robert Ames White and his mother was Joanna Whitaker. His paternal grandparents were John White and Ann Ames; his maternal grandparents are William Whitaker and Grace Armstrong. He had seven brothers and a sister, named William, Edward, UriahSamuel, Samuel, Daniel, John, Thomas and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 75 in 1880. His burial was on October 13th, 1880 in Bruton churchyard, Somerset.
