John White

John was born on February 13th, 1871 in 53 George Street, Newport, Mon. Wales and his baptism took place on October 19th, 1878 in St Marks, Newport. John's father was John White and his mother was Hannah Maria Eastment. His paternal grandparents were Robert Ames White and Joanna Whitaker; his maternal grandparents were James Eastment and Mary Young. He had six brothers and five sisters, named George, James Eastment, Alfred, Robert, John, William, Eliza, Mary A., Clara Jane, Alice and Rosina. He was the eleventh oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 62 on January 8th, 1934 in Victoria Bridge, Ebbw Vale, Mon, Wales.
