Daisy was born in June 1883 in Illinois. Daisy's father was Francis Marion Webb and her mother was Ellen Bales (Webb). Her paternal grandparents were John Webb and Elizabeth A. Mayfield (Webb). She had three brothers and a sister, named Otto, Frank, Daniel and Victoria. She was the second oldest of the five children.
