The oldest proven Webb on this site is John Webb (b. 1783). He is the most documented so far.

I'm working on a theory as to who John's parents are. For some of the evidence I'm looking at see Details of Simeon's family with Nancy --- (Webb Kirk) [theoretical]

Its genealogy so, some things are going to be wrong. If I get something wrong or leave somebody out don't get offended. I promise you, it was not done intentionally

Also, genealogy is all about history, and sometimes history can be embarrassing, sad, even hurtful. If you find something on here that causes severe emotional distress, let me know and I'll consider removing it, but no guarantees.

People are generally indexed according to their last name at birth with subsequent changes in parenthesis, but there may be exceptions.

Some people show up <Unknown>. This doesn't mean nobody knows, they're just unknown to me.

ABOUT PICTURES:

Some images may be difficult to see in the pop-ups or slide shows. To further enlarge images/pictures follow these steps. This works in Microsoft Edge. Other browsers may have similar methods.

1. Left click on a picture to bring up the picture in a slide show or frame.
2. RIGHT-CLICK on that picture.
3. Click "Open Link in a new Tab (or Window)" to bring up higher resolution pictures.
4. When the new tab or window opens your cursor may look similar to   indicating you can zoom further.

If you have more pictures please send me a copy, front and back if you can. And let me know if you want them posted or not. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but for what I do the back of the picture often says a lot more than the front.
