Ariaantje was born in 1754 in Zoetermeer and her baptism took place there on November 24th, 1754.1  Ariaantje's father was Maarten Jacobszn Rodenburg and her mother is Neeltje Jacobsdr Brugman.  Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Arentszn Rodenburg and Trijntge Maartensdr Hogerscheijt; her maternal grandfather is Jacob Brugman and her maternal grandmother was N.N. N.N.. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Arij, Maarten, Pleuntje and Trijntje.  She was the fourth oldest of the five children. She had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Jacob Maertenszn, Willem, Dirck Maertenszn, Maerten and Trijntje.  She died at the age of 2 on June 24th, 1756 in Zegwaart (Zoetermeer).1
