Giliana Caspers was born in 1711 in Aalburg and her baptism took place there on August 25th, 1711. Giliana Caspers' father was Caspar Jacobszn Mans and her mother was Maria Hendriks Verdoorn.  Her paternal grandparents were Jacobus Mans and Michieltje Dirckx; her maternal grandparents were Hendrik Janszn Verdoorn and Magdalena Ariens van der Flier. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named Jakobus, Hendrik, Arien, Hermannus Wilhelmus, Jan, Willem, Philip, David, Johanna and Magdalena.  She was the oldest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 51 on April 4th, 1762 in Aalburg.
