Sarah Heiser

Sarah was born on January 24th, 1892 in Mile End.¹ Sarah's father was Michael Heiser and her mother was Charlotte Mendes. Her paternal grandparents were Abraham Heiser and Sarah Levy; her maternal grandparents were Mordecai (Alexander) Elisha Mendes and Elizabeth Abrahams. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, Jack John, Alexander, Sidney, Alfred, David, Reuben, Elizabeth, Bessie, Edyth and Hetty. She was the eighth oldest of the twelve children. She died by commiting suicide at the age of 27 on May 26th, 1919 in West Hampstead.¹
