David Heiser

David was born on April 8th, 1896 in Mile End.¹ David's father was Michael Heiser and his mother was Charlotte Mendes. His paternal grandparents were Abraham Heiser and Sarah Levy; his maternal grandparents were Mordecai (Alexander) Elisha Mendes and Elizabeth Abrahams. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Samuel, Jack John, Alexander, Sidney, Alfred, Reuben, Elizabeth, Bessie, Edyth, Sarah and Hetty. He was the tenth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 68 in 1964.
